ToolZen provides free online tools that run in your web browser. This policy explains what happens to the information you enter and how we use cookies and similar technologies.

Your data stays in your browser

The text, files, images and numbers you enter into our tools are processed on your own device. We do not upload them to our servers and we do not save them in a database. Because of this, we cannot see or recover what you type into a tool.

Information stored on your device

To make the site more useful, ToolZen saves a few items in your browser's local storage. This data stays on your device and is never sent to us.

• Your theme choice (dark or light mode).
• A simple count of which tools you open, used to show your most used tools first.
• Your CV Maker draft and photo, so you can return to it later. The Clear button in the CV Maker removes this data.

You can delete all of this at any time by clearing your browser's site data.

Cookies and advertising

ToolZen may display advertising from third parties such as Google AdSense. Advertising partners may use cookies or similar technologies to show ads based on your visits to this and other websites. Google's use of advertising cookies lets it and its partners serve ads to you based on your browsing. You can manage personalised advertising through Google Ads Settings or at www.aboutads.info, and you can control cookies in your browser settings.

Third-party services

Our pages load fonts from Google Fonts, which may receive your IP address and browser information when the font is requested. Third-party services follow their own privacy policies.

Children's privacy

ToolZen is a general audience website and we do not knowingly collect personal information from children.

We may update this policy from time to time. The date at the top of this page shows when it was last changed. By continuing to use ToolZen after an update, you accept the revised policy.
